ReVanced Manager v2 Rewrite
In early 2026, ReVanced Manager received a complete rewrite using Jetpack Compose. This v2 codebase introduced multiple patch sources, a plugin-based APK downloader, automatic APK sourcing, and a redesigned UI that simplifies the patching workflow significantly compared to the v1.x era.

How to Install ReVanced Manager v2.6.1
Enable Unknown Sources
Go to Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps. Enable your browser (Chrome, etc.) to install APKs from outside the Play Store.
Download ReVanced Manager
Visit vanced.com.co and download the latest ReVanced Manager v2.6.1 APK. The file is approximately 45 MB. Only download from trusted sources to avoid malware.
Install the APK
Open the downloaded APK file. If prompted, tap “Install anyway” or “More details” > “Install anyway” to bypass Play Protect warnings. This is normal for open-source apps not distributed through Google Play.
Grant Permissions
When you first open ReVanced Manager, grant storage permission and “Install unknown apps” permission so it can patch and install modified APKs.

Development Builds Are Experimental
v2.7.0-dev builds may contain bugs, incomplete features, or breaking changes. They are intended for developers, testers, and advanced users who want to preview upcoming features. If you need stability for daily use, stick with v2.6.1 stable. You can install dev builds alongside stable builds without conflicts.
Switching between channels: You can toggle between stable and development update channels inside ReVanced Manager Settings > Updates. Enable “Pre-release updates” to receive dev builds. Disable it to return to stable-only updates.
🔀 RVX Manager — ReVanced Extended
The inotia00 fork for extended patches. Discontinued December 31, 2025.
RVX Manager is a fork of ReVanced Manager specifically designed to run patches created by inotia00 (ReVanced Extended). While the official ReVanced Manager can technically run third-party patches, RVX Manager was optimized for inotia00’s patch set and included them as default sources out of the box.
What Made RVX Manager Different:

ReVanced Extended was officially discontinued on December 31, 2025. The final patch release was v5.14.1. Developer inotia00 archived the repository on January 2, 2026, and joined the Morphe project. After discontinuing RVX, inotia00 and contributors launched Morphe — a new project that continues the spirit of ReVanced Extended with more transparent governance. Morphe patches YouTube and YouTube Music with similar feature sets to RVX, but under a fresh organizational structure. If you were an RVX user, Morphe is the natural migration path.
Morphe YouTube currently supports version 20.51.39, and Morphe YouTube Music supports 9.15.51. Both use MicroG RE 6.1.4 for Google account sign-in.

Patch availability varies by app version. ReVanced Manager always shows a “Suggested” version for each app — this is the version that has been tested and verified to work with current patches. Using a different version may cause patch failures or crashes. When in doubt, always use the suggested version.

How to patch YouTube (or any supported app) using ReVanced Manager v2.6.1.
Before You Start
Ensure you have: Android 8.0 or higher, at least 500 MB free storage, and about 10-15 minutes of uninterrupted time. The patching process is CPU-intensive and should not be interrupted.

Open ReVanced Manager & Go to Patcher

Source the APK

For best results, tap the suggested version to auto-download, or manually download the nodpi APK from a trusted source and select it from Storage.
Select Patches
Tap “Selected patches” to view all available patches. For first-time users, the default selection is recommended. Essential patches include: Video ads, General ads, Background play, MicroG support, SponsorBlock, and Return YouTube Dislike. Tap Done when satisfied.
Start Patching
Tap the Patch button at the bottom right. Do NOT exit the app, switch to another app, or lock your screen during patching. The process typically takes 5-15 minutes depending on your device’s CPU. You will see a progress log.
Install the Patched APK
Once patching completes, tap Install. If you see a Play Protect warning, tap More details then Install anyway. You can also export the patched APK using the save icon for backup or sharing.

Go to the Google Play Store, find YouTube, tap the three dots, and uncheck “Enable auto-update”. If the Play Store updates YouTube over your patched version, you will lose all patches and need to repatch.
