Recent Updates
Our entire August 2026 APK bundle has been refreshed with the latest stable ReVanced Patches. Every app in our catalog — YouTube, YouTube Music, and supported companion apps — now ships with the most recent patch versions, ensuring you get the best compatibility and feature set out of the box.
What is included in this refresh
- YouTube patched with latest Spoof video streams, SponsorBlock, and Return YouTube Dislike patches
- YouTube Music with Background playback, Track crossfade, and Third-party lyrics enabled
- All builds signed and verified for integrity before upload
- Architecture-specific builds for ARM64, ARMv7, and x86
The latest ReVanced Patches drop brings several highly requested features for power users. Whether you want finer UI control or better music discovery, this update has something for everyone.
What is new
- Custom DPI patch (YouTube): Override the app’s display density to make text and UI elements larger or smaller without changing system settings
- Playback in feeds (YouTube): Videos now auto-play inline in subscription and home feeds — toggle it in ReVanced settings
- Third-party lyrics (YouTube Music v9.15): Adds support for external lyrics providers when official lyrics are unavailable
- Seekbar thumbnails (YouTube): Enable or disable the thumbnail preview that appears when scrubbing the seekbar
- Track crossfade (YouTube Music v9.15): Smooth crossfade between tracks for uninterrupted listening
- Settings menu filter: Replaces the old settings patch with a cleaner, more organized ReVanced settings menu
Settings menu filter patch replaces the legacy settings patch. If you previously used the old one, you will need to reconfigure your preferences after repatching.
The next evolution of ReVanced Manager is here for early adopters. Version 2.7.0-dev.5 brings improved temp-directory handling, refined patch-option UI, and better error reporting during the patching process. This pre-release is ideal for users who want to test upcoming features before they hit stable.
What is new in v2.7.0-dev.5
- Improved temp-directory handling reduces failed patches on devices with limited storage
- Patch-option UI refinements make it easier to configure advanced settings
- Better error reporting with actionable suggestions when patching fails
- Faster patch bundle refresh on startup
YouTube pushed another round of server-side changes that broke video playback on patched apps, causing endless buffering and “Playback error” messages. The Spoof video streams patch has been updated to handle these new restrictions for both YouTube and YouTube Music.
What you need to do
Open ReVanced Manager, check for patch updates, and repatch your app with the latest ReVanced Patches. Make sure Spoof video streams is enabled in your patch selection. ReVanced Manager pulls the newest patches automatically.
Quick troubleshooting checklist
- Clear YouTube ReVanced cache:
Settings > Apps > YouTube ReVanced > Storage > Clear Cache - Disable battery optimization for ReVanced and GmsCore
- Ensure you are using the recommended YouTube APK version shown in Manager
- Update GmsCore to the latest release if login-related buffering persists
Our entire guide library has been overhauled to reflect the ReVanced Manager v2 interface, new patch selection flow, and updated troubleshooting steps. If you have been struggling with the new Manager layout, these guides will get you patched and running in under 10 minutes.

Two annoying bugs have been fixed in the latest patch cycle. First, SponsorBlock segments were only skipping once when Skip automatically was selected — now they skip reliably every time. Second, the Wide search bar patch was missing from the “You” tab on newer YouTube versions; this has been restored.
What to do
Repatch YouTube with the latest ReVanced Patches. No manual settings changes are required — the fixes apply automatically.
We have added a new high-performance download mirror to serve users in Asia-Pacific and European regions faster. Speed tests show an average 40% improvement in download times for users previously hitting our primary server from these regions.
What this means for you
- Faster APK downloads regardless of your location
- Reduced timeout errors during peak hours
- Automatic routing — no manual mirror selection needed
- Same file integrity checks on every mirror
Our download page now automatically detects whether your device is ARM64, ARMv7, or x86 and highlights the correct APK build for you. No more guessing, no more “App not installed” errors from architecture mismatches.
How it works
- Visit the download page on your Android device
- The recommended build for your architecture is automatically highlighted with a “Best for your device” badge
- All other builds remain available if you need them for a different device
We have received multiple reports of fake apps calling themselves “ReVanced Pro,” “ReVanced Premium,” or “Vanced Ultra” appearing on third-party app stores and sketchy download sites. These are not legitimate builds and may contain malware, adware, or credential-stealing code.
How to verify an authentic download
- Only download from vanced.com.co or the official ReVanced source
- Check the APK signature — legitimate ReVanced builds are signed with known certificates
- Verify the file size matches what is listed on our download page
- Be wary of apps asking for excessive permissions (SMS, contacts, phone calls)
- If an app promises “unlimited Premium” for Spotify or other services, it is almost certainly fake
We have launched a new alert system that notifies you the moment critical patches are released. No more discovering playback is broken three days after the fix was already available.

Update History
After more than two years of development, ReVanced Manager v2 has officially launched on the project’s anniversary. This is the biggest update to the ReVanced ecosystem since its inception.
ReVanced Manager has been completely rewritten with a modern architecture, redesigned UI, and new systems that improve both usability and flexibility. ReVanced Patcher v22 is now fully adopted, enabling support for much newer app versions.
What is changed
- Complete rewrite using Jetpack Compose for a smoother, more responsive interface
- Support for multiple patch sources simultaneously — mix and match patch bundles
- New APK downloader plugin system for faster, more reliable app sourcing
- Revamped and simplified user interface with clearer patch selection
- Integrated announcements directly inside the app
- Browse patches without selecting an app first — plan your setup ahead of time
- Automatic APK sourcing — Manager finds the right APK for you
- Full adoption of ReVanced Patcher v22 with improved matching API
Google recently changed authentication flows that broke login functionality in GmsCore, including support for 2-step verification. The fix has been merged from upstream into ReVanced’s GmsCore fork, which has also been updated to the latest upstream version with Maps Timeline support and FIDO passkey improvements.
What to do
If you are experiencing login issues:
- Repatch your app using the latest ReVanced Patches with the GmsCore support patch. It will prompt you to update GmsCore.
- Or manually update GmsCore to the latest release from the downloads page.
- Re-enable 2-step verification if you previously disabled it as a workaround.
A previous YouTube server-side update caused playback failures on patched apps, with videos refusing to load past the first few seconds. The Spoof video streams patch has been updated to restore normal playback for both YouTube and YouTube Music.
What to do
Repatch YouTube or YouTube Music using the latest ReVanced Patches. Make sure the Spoof video streams patch is included in your patch selection. If you are unsure which patches to pick, use the “Default” patch bundle in Manager.
Still broken?
Try clearing the app cache, restarting your device, and ensuring GmsCore is up to date. If the issue persists, check that you are patching the recommended YouTube version shown in ReVanced Manager.
Following the major v2 release of ReVanced Manager, several bugs were identified and squashed. A critical bug prevented patches from applying correctly — notably affecting YouTube patches for hiding Shorts, blocking ads, and enabling swipe controls.
What to do
Update ReVanced Manager v2 to the latest version and repatch your apps with the newest ReVanced Patches. The patcher now correctly applies all selected modifications.
ReVanced Patcher v22 is now officially live, introducing a significantly improved API. The biggest change: the old fingerprint system has been replaced with a simpler and more flexible matching API that makes patch development faster and more reliable.
Notable changes
- New matching API replacing the fingerprint system — patches are now more resilient to app updates
- Refined patches, patch options, and patcher APIs for cleaner code
- New DSL-based API for the patcher, making it easier for developers to write patches
- Unified
namefield replacing separate key and title fields

ReVanced has received a DMCA takedown notice from Spotify regarding the Unlock Premium patch. Spotify claims the patch is a derivative of their copyrighted works and circumvents technological protection measures under DMCA 1201(a).
Their arguments
- The patch enables access to copyrighted content by bypassing encryption and transfer key protocols
- It circumvents premium feature restrictions like unlimited skipping
- Legal precedent suggests bypassing software restrictions may constitute circumvention even when it affects features rather than direct content access
Our understanding
The patch does not copy Spotify’s code. Songs on Spotify Free remain accessible without the patch — premium features mainly affect convenience. However, if attestation bypass alone constitutes a DMCA violation, even basic “make the app work when patched” functionality could be affected.
Spotify recently introduced changes that broke patched versions of their app. The new Spoof client info patch (replacing the old Spoof package info patch) resolves these issues.
What to do
If you encounter empty playlists or songs not playing after patching Spotify, repatch using the latest ReVanced Patches with the Spoof client info patch.
